I picked up golf last season and started with Mizuno MP-64 Irons. As I kept reading about swing mechanics and watching every youtube I could from a PGA instructor, my swing improved and I lowered my score from the 100's to the mid 80's range.I can’t describe how great these feel,I think these are going to find a home in my bag for a very long time.
The MP-64 will be ideal for low single figures golfers who want more control than the JPX825 Pro, even though there is not much in it. Whilst the MP-64 is a quality club, it is very similar to the previous MP-62 and cheap Mizuno MP-63 Irons. The changes therefore are subtle, but ultimately effective.
When you first look at the Mizuno MP-64 irons you get the feeling you have seen them before somewhere. Looking back we feel that Mizuno have combined the peripheral weighting from the MP-62 irons with the diamond back cavity of the MP-63 irons and we think this works well. These irons are the best feeling “player’s cavity” design that Mizuno has engineered. The full body Diamond Muscle design of the Grain Flow Forged MP-64 deliver increased forgiveness in the long irons and enhanced control in the scoring irons.
Actually,Mizuno have created a beautiful set of cheap golf clubs that can be worked like a blade but have some added forgiveness. They will not give you that extra yardage your looking for, if you struggle for distance, but what they do give you is superb playability, feel, consistency and feedback. They just feel amazing and the flight is fantastic with a tight dispersion. These can be combined with the new H4 irons as a long iron replacements if you struggle with the long irons, which give extra forgiveness and higher launch.
With feel and control as top priorities, Mizuno engineers relied heavily on the use of advanced simulation tools and input from Mizuno Staff Member Luke Donald in the development of the Mizuno MP-64 Irons. Additionally, the Diamond Muscle pad flows with varied cavity depths throughout the set resulting in easy to launch, controllable long irons and penetrating, pin seeking scoring irons. If you’re looking for the ultimate in shot making ability, look no further than them.
Besides the outstanding feel and look, I am also pleased to report that my shot patterns have significantly tightened, resulting in more birdies. Just give MP-64 Irons a try as I don't think you can find better quality irons than these. I am sure like me you won't be disappointed.
